Bryan Smith	General	Mr. Kinney....I have lived in Hilton GA nearly all my life and as a young boy I had the pleasure of getting to know your dad. He was always a nice fellow and took time for a young railfan sitting beside the track at Hilton. I am now 52 years old and very appreciative of the photos you have taken and posted here. They really bring back a flood of memories. I have also become involved with the Columbia AL historical society and they do an outstanding job of preserving and presenting local history. They do a quarterly newsletter always featuring a prominent item from the past and an upcoming edition will feature the river crossings of the CofG near Columbia. They have asked if we could use a couple of your photos to go along with this article. There will be no income from the use of the photos and only used to present history to those interested.
